Three Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) conducted a series of infractions within the Aegean airspace today, Saturday. These activities were documented across several sectors of the archipelago, specifically in the Southeast, Central, and Northeast Aegean.

Recorded Infractions and Violations

According to reports, the Turkish drones committed a total of:

  • Three violations of the Athens FIR air traffic regulations.
  • Two violations of the national airspace.

Response by Greek Authorities

In accordance with established international rules and standard operating procedures, the Turkish drones were identified and intercepted by Greek forces. These actions were taken immediately following the detection of the aircraft in the aforementioned regions of the Aegean.
