Siemens Energy reported record-breaking results for the third quarter, achieving historic highs in sales, profit margins, and orders. This robust performance is attributed to the surging demand for infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence, alongside energy projects in strategic regions.

Strong Financial Growth

The company's third-quarter sales increased by 18.5%, reaching €11.45 billion. This figure surpassed analyst forecasts, which had estimated sales at €11.22 billion. Profitability saw an even more dramatic rise, as earnings before special items more than tripled to €1.62 billion, exceeding the poll estimate of €1.38 billion.

AI as a Growth Driver

According to company data, growth was significantly bolstered by the expansion of AI data centers in the United States. Simultaneously, the construction of power plants in the Middle East played a decisive role in the surge of new orders.

Recovery in the Wind Sector

A major milestone for the quarter was the return of the wind business to profitability for the first time since 2022.

"The fact that our wind business returned to profitability in a quarter for the first time since 2022 is a fantastic achievement for this team,"
the CEO of Siemens Energy stated in an announcement.
