Ahead of the scheduled August 12th event, new leaks from Android Headlines have shed light on the upcoming Pixel 11 lineup. The shared specifications align with previous rumors, suggesting a strategy defined by price hikes and specific hardware compromises.
Pricing and Storage Shifts
The standard Pixel 11 is expected to see a $100 price increase, bringing the starting price to $899. To soften the blow, Google is reportedly offering 256GB of storage for the base model, up from the previous 128GB. However, the standard model will reportedly ditch the telephoto lens, settling for a dual rear camera configuration.
The Pro Lineup and 'RAMageddon'
While the entire series will feature the new Tensor G6 and Titan M3 chips, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are rumored to face a RAM cut to 12GB. This reduction comes alongside price increases, with the Pro models expected to cost $1,099 and $1,299, respectively. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not exempt from these changes, reportedly starting at $1,899 with 12GB of RAM.
Hardware updates for the Pro models appear conservative elsewhere, with displays and camera setups largely mirroring the Pixel 10 generation.
