The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is moving forward with a radical upgrade of its operational model, transforming the Central Control Room in Sepolia into a modern digital coordination center. This new "headquarters" will aggregate information from field audits, information systems, and geographical business imaging into a single unified environment.
Artificial Intelligence and Drones in the Field
The plan involves strengthening the General Directorate of Financial Transaction Control Forces (GDDEOS) with AI tools and real-time imaging capabilities, including the use of drones. The objective is to provide full support to audit teams from the planning stage through to the completion of an operation.
A central role will be played by "AI agents," designed to support field auditors and analysts. According to the design, artificial intelligence will not make autonomous decisions regarding penalties or sanctions; instead, it will provide the necessary data for evaluation by human personnel.
Geospatial Mapping and Remote Support
The new environment includes a geospatial operational analysis platform, which will map audit targets, forces, and ongoing actions nationwide in real-time. Additionally, "Active Seats" (Dynamic Operational Support Positions) are being introduced, allowing experienced officials to coordinate operations remotely from any location in the country.
- Interconnection with multiple data sources and third-party information systems.
- Development of digital workflow forms tailored to each type of field audit.
- Enhanced cybersecurity for mobile devices and remote terminals.
- Relocation to a new facility based on international crisis management standards.
The operational scope of the new center is extensive, covering everything from major tax evasion and smuggling to the illegal trafficking of weapons, drugs, and antiquities, thereby linking the protection of public revenue with broader social security.
