ManpowerGroup has released its 2025-2026 ESG Report, titled "Working to Change the World: Human First, Digital Always." The report details progress across three strategic pillars: People & Prosperity, Planet, and Principles of Governance, emphasizing how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping work while maintaining a human-centric focus.

Skill Development and New Opportunities

Upskilling is a cornerstone of the group's strategy. Through the SmartStart program, ManpowerGroup aims to train 1 million people in the U.S. for the semiconductor industry. Additionally, the Manpower MyPath program has reached 332,000 participants, and the Experis Academy is expanding across 12 European countries, focusing on high-demand technologies like SAP and AWS.

Ethical AI Integration

The report reveals that 81% of the group's employees now use AI tools daily. Technology is also being used to increase candidate accessibility, with 25,000 AI-supported interviews conducted—80% of which occurred outside standard business hours. To ensure ethical standards, the group has strengthened its Ethical AI Committee and established the AIDA (AI, Data, Analytics and Innovation) governance framework.

Social and Environmental Impact

In terms of sustainability and social responsibility, ManpowerGroup reported:

  • A 24% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions between 2019 and 2025.
  • Connecting over 60,000 refugees with global employment opportunities.
  • Transitioning to 44% renewable electricity usage.

"Our priority is ensuring people have the skills, confidence, and access to opportunities they need to thrive," stated Ruth Harper, Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer, highlighting that technology should empower rather than replace the workforce.
