Iosifakis, who maintains active ties with Greece, had previously emphasized during a May visit to Athens that AI adoption is the only way to ensure business competitiveness. He noted that 80% of Nvidia’s workforce consists of engineers who integrate AI into their daily operations.

Originally from Cyprus, Iosifakis began his journey studying Economics and Engineering at the University of Texas. His professional background includes a tenure at the US Department of Energy (DoE) and leadership roles at major firms such as Cray, before joining Nvidia in 2020.
